It also gives us a bit of a break from our usual designs so we don't get tired of making them.
So that is what this carrier is. It's my "something different".
I think it still looks very obviously like a Kitten Creations carrier but there are lots of things on this carrier that you won't often (or ever) see on one of my standard carriers.
I don't offer seat darts with my full-buckle carriers but I've added some into this one.
The reason I gave seat darts another go is because I've also gone for a very non-typical, shaped and structured foam waist on this carrier, and I think seat darts and structured waists sort of go hand in hand, don't they?
And instead of using my usual ladder locs on the shoulder straps I've used side release buckles - just to see how it turned out (the results were actually really positive)
I'll be honest with you. I wasn't expecting to end up with a useable carrier. This one was intended for the bin.
No really, it was!
But somehow, it's all worked out really well and I ended up with something quite lovely. And it would be wrong to throw away a perfectly good carrier wouldn't it?
So, instead, I've decided to give it away, free to a good home.
So if you would love to own a Kitten Creations full-buckle carrier and haven't been lucky enough to secure a slot for a custom, then here's your chance!
Up for grabs is:
A standard size (16" x 16") full-buckle Kitten Creations carrier made from black cotton corduroy, green dragon satin, black cotton drill (the "webbing" portions) with a simple applique to the hood.
The carrier features a simple, flat, attached hood, extra leg padding, seat darts, a one piece, shaped, structured, foam waist with breathable mesh on the skin-side to fit a waist or hip measurement of 33" or larger.
The shoulder straps are 15" long (petite) and the straps can easily be unclipped and re-clipped making this carrier convenient for both front and back carrying at a moments notice.
This carrier does come with a very simple chest belt made from corduroy however I found the carrier was far more comfortable without. It's there if you want it though.
This carrier is classed as a "second quality" carrier due to a few minor aesthetic flaws.
Each share gets you another entry into the draw.
And sorry US peeps, but the carrier isn't compliant with all the US regulations (definitely not enough labels or warnings on it) so I won't be posting this one to the states :-(

Hi everyone, please remember that when you share the post to win the carrier you need to make the post public so I can see your name in the list of shares. If you've already shared the link I think you can change the privacy settings retrospectively to make it a public post and still have your name show up for the draw.
I wouldn't want anyone to miss out just because I can't see them in the list!
Here is a tutorial on how to make your "share" count:
